Filipino Utilized Manga (FUM) is a brand of indie comics in the Philippines that has been published during the Summer Komikon. It is organized to show the new generation of comic lovers and enthusiasts about the increasing culture of Japanese storytelling in the form of manga.
FUM Magazine’s main goal is to serve as a window of imagination in which readers may dive into colorful lives of several characters in the publication.
Originally, the magazine has five stories with different themes that are child friendly. It is rated as 13 years old-above. Titles such as Nueve, Enguard Dawn, Silver Star, Jill Saw Puzzle and Numeros are the main features of the magazine. Also, coming this fall is a new face of FUM Magazine in which the editor-in-chief takes the demand into a higher level, a manga magazine exclusive for adult readers.
FUM Black: Stepping Beyond Borders
FUM Black is a more action-packed publication concentrated among adults. Stories bear nudity, gore, anti-religion, violence, foul words, and horror. The carrier-story ALEXIS PARKER, is a five-star story, drawn in a form of combining western art and manga; it tells the story of a Vatican Agent that reveals the end of the world and tries to stop it by killing the human form of Christ. UCHUU WAGASHI (Space Candy) is a sexy manga full of cute girls killing hardcore robots to save the earth.
