Storia: Love Rain

“It’s raining again.” Trisha said sadly. “What a bad day it is really for me.” “I also forgot my umbrella at school! Geez..”

Suddenly a man shared his umbrella to her. “Don’t blame the weather on what happened to you today.” The man said while laughing. “There’s a typhoon today so there’s a time that it will rain.” “Guess this is it.”

“Hmpt, I knew that.. it’s just the rain is..” she said.

“It’s just the rain is exact on the time you need to cry?” the man continued.

“How did you know?” she said.

“Well, I often see you here when I’m here also. I guess we got the same idea of going in this place when we have a problem. Funny huh.” The man said.

“Why is it that I didn’t notice you when I’m here?” she asked.

“It’s because you’re only looking at the fountain when you are here.” The man laughed. “The rain is getting stronger; let’s find a shelter for a while.”

“Thanks for sharing your umbrella.” Trisha said to the man.

“My pleasure.” He replied. “You’re the only one left I saw when the rain falls down. Others already run into shelter.”

Trisha still thinks of her problem that time.

“I guess we’ll stay here for a while as soon as the rain stops.” The man said. “By the way, I’m Carl.”

“Trisha.” She replied shortly.

“Ohh, still thinking of that problem? Mind sharing it? I’ll lend my ears.” He said but Trisha’s only looking at the rain. “I know we’ve just met and I’m still a stranger to you.” He added.

“Do you also have a problem?” Trisha asked him.

“Today? Yes. But the time I saw you here, I already forgot it.” Carl said

“Is that a joke?” Trisha said while laughing.

“See? I made you laugh.” “Here I’ll tell you a funny story.”

The two talked like they knew each other for a long time until the rain stops.

“The rain already stopped. I guess I’ll have to go now.” Trisha said

“Want me to walk you home?” Carl asked.

“It’s okay. My house is not that far.” She said. “Thank you for making me laugh. I forgot my problem for a while.”

“If you got a problem you can just see me here. Of course if I also got a problem.” Carl said “Maybe we can share our problems that time.”

“Sure.”

The two then bade farewell on that day.

Trisha told to her friends on what happened that day. Her friends told her that Carl is also studying in their school.

She tried to find him in the school but the school is too big to find a single person.

The other week Trisha came back to the park to check if Carl was there. She looked everywhere but she didn’t see him. Suddenly, rain poured down.

“Gosh! My umbrella!” she said while hitting her head.

She heard a voice saying “Looking for someone?” She looked at his back and saw Carl.

“You left your umbrella again do you?” said by Carl while laughing. “Got a problem? Let’s talk.”

Trisha doesn’t have a problem that time but she only wants to see Carl.

Days past and Trisha goes to the park to see Carl twice or thrice a week in a way that Carl wouldn’t notice that she like him.

One day at the school, she is chatting with her friends in whom the topic is about her and Carl. Suddenly someone called her.

“Trisha?”

By the tone of the voice she already knew that it is Carl.

As she looks at her back, It’s really Carl and with his friends. Trisha can’t imagine the happiness she felt that day he saw Carl in school.

Carl went near Trisha and said. “At last, I saw you finally in the school.” “It’s really hard to find someone in a big school like this.” “By the way, these are my friends, Clarence, John and Paul.”

“It’s nice to meet you all. I’m Trisha and these are my friends, Elisa, Francis, Erica and Shaira.

“Bro, is this the girl you always see at the park that you like?” Paul whispered loudly.

“Shh.. You’re too loud!” Carl said.

Trisha’s friends whispered to her. “Trisha, he also likes you!”

“You all also whispered too loud” Paul said to Trisha’s friends.

“I guess the two of you like each other.” John said.

Then all of them laughed.

“Carl this is your chance! I’ll play guitar you sing her a song!” Clarence said.

As Clarence plays the guitar, Carl sings a song for Trisha.

“How sweet!” As her friends teases her.

The song ended and suddenly it rained.

“Aw, my umbrella.” Trisha said while finding her umbrella.

“You forgot your umbrella again?” “Here, I’ll share mine.” “I guess I sang badly that made it rain.” Carl said while laughing.

“No, you sing great.” Trisha replied.

Since that day, the two became couples. When they have a problem, they still go to the same place where they first met.
